Installer use case

Poster Player for AV installers

Poster Player gives AV installers a premium Now Playing poster display add-on for home cinema installations, demo rooms, showrooms and client handover.

A visible upgrade for cinema rooms

A dedicated Poster Player screen can sit outside the cinema door, beside the seating area, in a lobby space or near an equipment wall.

Simple display requirements

The screen only needs a browser. Installers can use tablets, monitors, TV browsers, mini PCs or Raspberry Pi kiosk displays depending on the room design.

Local bridge architecture

The bridge runs locally and detects playback/source data where available. This keeps source detection close to the customer network while the display uses a secure link.

Demo room and showroom value

Coming Soon mode keeps display hardware useful when nothing is playing, with rotating posters, backdrops and artwork for a more complete client-facing room.

Clear integration language

Poster Player separates current sources such as Zidoo, Apple TV local bridge, Spotify and TMDb from prepared or roadmap integrations such as Plex, Kaleidescape, Control4 and Home Assistant.
